April: “Preparing Children for Success” 
    Presented by Judy Bissen

Registration begins on Thursday, April 12^th at 6:15 pm. Announcements begin at 6:30 and class starts at 6:45 pm at the Senior Center.

This training offers you the concepts and background which you need to become well-versed in Minnesota’s endorsed quality support tools: the Minnesota Core Competencies for Early Childhood and Care Practitioners ©, the Environment Rating Scales, and the Early Childhood Indicators of Progress: Minnesota’s Early Learning Standards 2005 ©. You can feel good about finishing this session, knowing that you are ready to incorporate these critical tools into your work.

May: “Germs are Mean, Keep Hands Clean” 
    Presented by Adults & Childrens Alliance

Registration begins on Thursday, May 10^th at 6:15 pm. Announcements begin at 6:30 and class starts at 6:45 pm at the Senior Center.

This workshop emphasizes the importance of hand washing. We will discuss how germs are transmitted and the proper way to wash your hands. You will be shown fun and interactive ways that you can teach young children about the importance of hand washing. This workshop will have many “hands on” activities.
